Please someone tell me (help)

if seeing a little blood in the water when you pee and on the toilet paper is ok during the end of your 1st trimester. I am sitting here crying because I have never been more scared in my life. The doctor said as long as I am not constantly bleeding and there is no cramping, it is most likely alright but I cant sleep now and I cant stop worrying and crying. Please... I hope someone can tell me they went through this. Thank you.

Dont cry, Diane!

Listen, I can totally relate to where you are coming from. I had some spotting several times with this pg- and I was scared too- and totally freaked. It is totally fine- everything will be fine! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Its totally normal! I've read that people get spotting throughout their pregnancies. It might not even be implantation spotting- could be anything at this point.

Come to think of it- my BF who is pg too- had some bleeding around like week 12-14 and it was totally nothing. Her baby is fine!

It can be soo scary- but if everything else is ok- cramping, etc- then dont worry about it. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I haven't had this personally but i have read on these boards that spotting from time to time throughout pg is most likely nothing to worry about. Also, did you have an internal recently or sex? My dr. said this could happen after this as well.

DON'T WORRY - Im sure you will be fine! Call the dr. in the morning Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Please someone tell me (help)

It is very common. I had bleeding (not just potting, but bleeding) through most of my first tri. I freaked out & the doc told me that the baby was OK. At my level II they discovered placenta previa & told me that could be a reason for the bleeding.

I also had a cyst rupture at about 5 weeks that caused some bleeding too.

But me & nugget are healthy, so I stopped worryingChat Icon

Re: Please someone tell me (help)

I had massive bleeding in the first trimester as well and it was a couple of issues..nothing that did not resolve.
Also..u say in the pee and on the paper...can u have a infection or did u have sex recently and possibly be scratched?
If u are not still bleeding and do not have bad cramping do not worry.
If u still cannot rest easy tell doc u want to come in*****

Re: Please someone tell me (help)

Well there is no more blood in the water but a little brown blood on the paper. Barely anything though. I havent had sex for like a week so I really dont think it is that but I did shovel a little the day it snowed. I dont know. I go for my ultrascreen/Level II in a week so I guess they will check everything. No cramping at all thank god. Thanks for the comforting words girls. Chat Icon

its ok then--brown and no cramps is ok.
U never know--it can be your placenta is low..I would def refrain from any sex until you have your level 2 and tell them. Chat Icon

Re: Please someone tell me (help) Today update.

Thanks! I searched on here under the word spotting... and I read that a common reason is being dehydrated. I barely drank anything yesterday. Could that be why?

All day today there has been a slight brown tinge on the tp but that's all. I am still nervous but much better than last night.

Re: Please someone tell me (help)

I actually had heavy spotting at one point, but everything turned out to be okay. It is pretty normal just as long as it's not red, and you're not experiencing severe cramping.

Re: Please someone tell me (help)

during my 1st tri. i too had spotting. it went on for a while and freaked me out! i totally understand how you feel- it's horrible. i am amazed at how many people actually spot during pregnancy and turns out ot be "normal" it NEVER even occured to me that spotting could even occur during pregnancy without something being terribly wrong! i am sure you and your baby are just fine Chat Icon
