Hi....
I am TTC and just added a poll on the TTC board and wondered if you can take the time to take the poll and give any advice about how to increase your chances to get pregnant.
Any advice is welcomed...thanks

Re: Hi....
Charting can work for a lot of people.
Have you read the book "Taking charge of Your Fertility". I highly recommend it.
My BF used charting and got pregnant on her first month of trying after charting for a few months. I know many women who have great luck with it.
Charting can also alert SOME women to fertility issues. Just from personal exeperience, I charted for a year and well, they looked like EKG's. They went on for upwards of 60 or more days and clearly showed no ovulation at all, just annovulatory cycles. When I presented all of the charts to my GYNO he put me on the fast track with an RE right away because charting clearly showed there was a problem.
Good luck. I'm a believer in trying whatever works for you

Oh you really should read the entire book, you will learn so much.
Bascially you need to temp every morning the second you awake at the same exact time. Leave the thermometer right on your nightstand with a pen and a paper chart, you can copy the ones in the back of the book.
Keep in mind, if you wake up earlier or drink alcohol the night before your morning temps will be off. The book explains all of that though.
Just start filling in the chart on CD4. You have to do a few months before you can predict a definite pattern.
Good luck
