Re: Avent Sterilizer

I personally dont think a sterilizer is necessary. I think the heat from the dishwasher is good enough. Plus after you sterilize in the microwave and take the top off, they are "contaminated" again. So what's the point? IMO.

I do not have a dish washer so I use it two times a day.

I don't have a dishwasher, so I registered for this.

Re: Avent Sterilizer

I used it for the first few months - it made me feel better (we didn't have many bottles, since I was BFing) for$30 it was worth it to me

If you dont have a dishwasher, than I think you should get the sterilizer. But I dont think you need both.

Re: Avent Sterilizer

I have the plug in Advent, it was a waste of 70 bucks for us. I used it 3 times.

we wash all her bottles in hot/soapy water, I have never ran them through the dishwasher. Doc told us not to put nipples in the dishwasher for some reason.

According to the directions in my sterilzer you can't put dirty bottles in there, so you have to wash them anyways.

i will do the same for the next one!
