Costco Mattress Sets
Dh and I are in desperate need of a mattress. I did some shopping around and found a queen set (pillow top - Sealy) for only 589.00 at Costco.
What's the catch with the low price? I went to Sleepy's and looked at a similar set, and it was over 1500.00.
What's the deal?

We have a matress from costco and are very happy with it. We didn't get a set we only got a mattress that has a sturdy bottom. Sometimes they have some at the store so you can see if you like it. Why so cheap? Its costco.

You have a platform bed or and old boxspring? No bottom to a matress will ruin the mattress big time and may void your warranty. Just as your back needs support, your matress needs to be supported also.

We have the same Costco mattress and am very happy with it. As for the price like someone else said it is chep b/c it is Costco. I actually work for Costco and they do a huge volume with mattress sales both in store and online. I would buy it in store if possible since the ones on line are more expensive.
