Where do you do all your "research" about which products to buy?

I found stuff I wanted to buy and then researched online (Amazon, Epinions, BabiesRUS.com)
I changed my registery 100 times!

Baby bargains was my god send. I read that book at least 50-75 times .
Then I asked questions on here and parenting and read reviews on BRU and amazon on certain products.

I started here. Did some searches on what other people use and what they like/don't like. I put off buying the Baby Bargains book because I wasn't sure how helpful a book would be - but let me tell you, it is/was a HUGE help!! I *highly* recommend it.

I did a lot of research from Baby Bargains. Babiesrus also has great reviews and products and you can ask friends too.

Thanks ladies! DH and I did an initial walk-through at buy buy baby today and it was overwhelming, to say the least!

Reviews on Amazon and the BRU site, and recommendations from friends. Though you do have to carefully consider some of the BRU recs- people give low scores to things their babies don't like (which is inevitable) without addressing the quality of the item. There were a few things I was considering (and I wish I remembered what they were) and upon reading the reviews I learned that the items had a major flaw.
