HA! need a gender re-check...

today at my 27 week appt. , I was asked yet again if I was sure we aren't having a girl... to which I whip out my pics of the sono where we got to see our little BOYS parts....

apparently-- there have beeen several mistakes recently where boys are really girls...
so now I am in heading to the nearest 3D sono place for a recheck....

OMG! I have heard lots of stories lately of people getting the wrong gender! Can you imagine???

That has to be so crazy. Everything is all ready for a boy to come that I don't know what I would do.

This is my biggest fear....I was told Boy at 17 weeks...I think Id be in shock if he came out a SHE!!

yup i was told 99% sure it was a boy at my level two, so if it turns out to be a girl, i think me and my DH will faint!

I'm feeling pretty confident that mine is a boy since three different sonos pointed to the same outcome.

But every now and then that "what if" thought pops into my brain!!

I have to admit when we were told at our level 2 that it was a boy I was leary to buy boy stuff. But then did the 3D sono, at the begining the tech asked if we knew the sex, I said yes he said "Dont tell me, let's see if I see the same thing" And he was right, pointing out the scrotum!

We have gone back and forth on this. My level 2 the baby had her legs crossed and the doctor said he was 75% it was a girl (tech said she saw boy). So we went for the 3d/4d and he said he thinks girl (showed us some images on the screen but we have no idea what we were looking at ). My gut has said girl all along and we both figure that from the images he did show us at 24 weeks we would have been able to see something sticking out if it were a boy.

But....we are going to try to get my regular doc to do a sono to get her opinion. In the meanwhile I am going with girl. We figure that if we are wrong we will just scramble to get the things we need.

DH was at a client and three women there had this happen where they were told one gender but delivered the other:

1 - told had
2 - told had

my cousin and his wife prepared the whole family for the arrival of "sabrina"... but instead we now have "logan"!
