1 Hour Glucose "Cutoff" #
I had the 1 hour glucose test on friday. I had taken it 2 weeks before but the blood got messed up at the lab. The first time I took it, I didnt eat prior and bet I would have passed. This time, it wasnt until 2.45 pm so I ate before the test. I got a call today with the results and I got a 137. They are saying the cutoff is anything over 130 goes for the 3 hour test. Reading things online, I found a number of different cutoffs.
If you know, what was your doctors cutoff and your scores? I hate to have to go thru the 3 hour test for 7 points.
I just want to scream....

My doc's cutoff was 130 and I got a 143.

mine was a 130 as well and i got a 142, sucks but 3 hour is not bad, hope you pass

Thanks girls.. I know that there are cutoffs for a reason. It just seems like I am right on the borderline with every test they offer. I knew I should have skipped going for a 2nd 1 hour and gone straight to the 3!!!

My Dr's cut off was 135, I got 142. Had to do the 3 Hr, which I did today.

my doctors cutoff was 139, I had a 153 so I had to go for the 3 hour. I think each doctor is different

My docs cutoff was 140 and mine was 158. I also did the 3hr. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info ladies. I guess I have to just suck it up and go do the 3 hour test... I am bored already just thinking about it!

I got a 138 and my doctor said the "optimal" number is 130. I am taking the 3 hour tomorrrow morning.
Oh and most people were told to fast before the 1 hour and my doctor told me to eat, so I am sure that was the difference.

my dr said anything below 140 is normal. I got a 107

My Dr's cutoff was 130 as well and I got a 132..... I had to take the 3 hr and the lab screwed up and my samples clotted so I had to take the 3hr again....UGH what a mess

This is my fear since that is the same thing that happened to my one hour. I had to do that twice, I figure I will have to do the 3 hour twice as well.
