Re: low progesterone levels
your doctor put you on progesterone supplements, right? i'm thinking that should bring you up to normal or near-normal levels soon?
i'm not too familiar with uterine hematomas... but like any other hematoma, the blood will eventually be broken down / reabsorbed into the bloodstream - like when you have a big bruise on your skin.
hang in there and don't lose hope!!!! sounds like you are on the right track with your doctor in taking care of things.

Re: low progesterone levels
Can you ask your Dr for progesterone in oil? Are you currently on Crinone? Crinone is synthetic progesterone so while it will do the things in your body that its supposed to do it won't show up in blood work. At least if you took the PIO it would show in your blood and reassure you. After 10-12 weeks the placenta produces progesterone on its own.

Re: low progesterone levels
My progesterone level was 8.2 and I, too, am on the suppositories. Fun, fun!
Yes, you CAN go on to have a healthy pregnancy. My best friend delivered a beautiful baby girl yesterday and her progesterone level was 6 or 7 before she started with the suppositories.
My doctor isn't concerned and told me not to be. I have been on the suppositories for 8 days now. I do not know how far along I am (will find out on Wednesday). My guess is 7-8 weeks.
Good luck!!!!!
ETA: How often do you use the suppositories? Mine are 100mg and I use them twice a day. I was told this would continue until the end of the first trimester.

This is the correct dose from what I've read.

Re: low progesterone levels
I was on progesterone suppositories starting at six weeks for about a month. I'm now 29 weeks :) Make sure you are lying down after you insert them, at least for 20 minutes.

Re: low progesterone levels
MY levels got down to 7 - at that point the doctor put me on progesterone suppositories and I was monitored by sonogram every 2 weeks.
My pregnancy was fine - now I have a very active 8 month old
