Leslie don't let the unknown interfere with the celebration of your first wedding anniversary. After all, you only get one first anniversary. Let yourself savor and enjoy the love you and Ed have for one another, and let those of us here worry about how you're doing for ONE day!

I am so sorry the news wasn't difinitive...but try to beleive the nurse wouldnt give you false hope. It isn't over till AF comes....and hopefully she wont show!! I will be praying for you over the weekend!!

DH and I both confused. Apparently, the test I had tests progesterone to see if I ovulated - or maybe it was something else. I am not a medical person so I dont know. I know I ovulate. I have said I ovulate. I feel when I ovulate. The doctor SAW that I ovulated LAST cycle when he did the sonogram. What are we testing here? I am going to assume that with the procedure I had, there is standard follow up work that needs to be done to justify things to insurance or to build a case for something more invasive later down the line - and the blood test is just a part of it. I know there are reasons - we are just confused.

I know it is easy to say to have hope. I don't. I have been right on the money about everything thus far. Everything that I feel that could be symptomatic of being pregnant, I have experienced before with AF soon to follow. Nothing has been different at all.

I am waiting for DH to come home for my big cry and then I'll move on.

Please forgive me for seeming distant and terse.

I suppose you are right. Im usually looking at the brighter side of things, but right now, I feel a lil bit dark. Give me a few days to pull out of my funk and I should be back to my old self.

i would think that there's a good chance that day 26 of a 30 day cycle would be too early to detect bHCG, even in blood. there is still hope!!

but having said that, i am so sorry that today's news wasn't the best-

The test was taken on day 25. I suppose it is possible but I am trying to be as realistic as I can. DH should be home soon. I need a hug - he gives good hugs.

I told you I thought it was way too early to tell anyway, so enjoy your first anniversary and wait it out.

Even still, it was your first try this way, so all is not lost. I have a feeling that your time will soon come!

First off - wanted to send you lots of for everything you have been going through. From what I've read on this post, this month must have been very difficult for you

I also wanted to say whether it be for this month (hopefully ) or going forward - try not to get discouraged to soon. The month I got my BFP I got a BFN on CD 24 and a BFP on CD 26 - and I am on a 28day cycle to the T. So, it could be too early to tell. Second, as for the symptoms - PLEASE do not let yourself get crazy over the symptoms. The month I got my BFP i was SO UPSET even crying that week because I had NO symptoms at all that couldn't be explained by AF coming and I was sure it wasn't the month and low and behold it was. AND - the month before I had EVERy symptom in the book and BFN...so it aint over til its over.

All that said - sending you lots of that if not this month - it will be VERY SOON that you have a !

Praying for you and your DH! You deserve to treat your self to a relaxing massage and manicure too! Give yourself lots of hugs, you're really being strong and your persistence will pay off! It took my friend a long time and it was very hard, after an adoption that went wrong (she had the kid two weeks and the birth mom changed her mind), lots of infertility treatments, she and her husband finally had a miracle baby! I believe it can happen! I believe! I believe!!

You know that John and I are here for the both of you whenever you need us. I am still hoping that you get a BFP this month!
