Random Question #?: Red Lights
It is 3 a.m. and you are late getting home. As you approach the intersection you notice that no one is around. Do you drive through the red light?
eta to answer my own question:
I would if there was a good reason.
I yelled at DH for stopping at a red light with not a soul in sight at 2am. I was in labor.

eta: and I know that I'm in an area that doesn't photograph lights. I would never do it in NYC, but I would (and have) in KP.

no, you never know if someone will come speeding through the intersection. Or if there is a cop nearby waiting to pull you over!

never!
Although there is one light by my house that is POINTLESS. it should be a stop sign. It's a 2 way road, and the only intersection is a one way you can only turn onto. An all way stop would be fine. Also, witht eh timing of the light previous you always get stuck at it and I am always so tempted to run it, because it's pointless. There's nothing there. It's near the back fo the racetrack...so of course it's a PERFECT place for the new CAMERA they installed

Normally, no.
But I have done it twice:
Once when I sat at the light for over 10 minutes. I decided it was broken.
Once when I was in a not-so-nice neighborhood. There were some shady people standing around and I was by myself.
I decided to go through it because I probably would have welcomed the police escort!
