Totally normal, unless you have had "issues" in the past, or begin spotting...

I am in the minority. As soon as I called and told them of my BFP, I was scheduled for an appointment, had bloodwork and an early US at 5 weeks 2 days.
Not high risk, never had any PG problems (this is #3).
Different doctors do it differently I guess

Well I just had my 1st Appt last night...they took blood, but not to confirm PG, but to test for everything else. They asked if I did HPT & I told them I did 2! All they said was "okay so we don't have to do one." I got my prenatals prescription and made my next 3 appts bc evening hours are hard to come by. I have 2 cats & they took blood to test for Tox...(i forgot the name).....in 3 weeks I'll go for my sono! It was exciting either way...I feel relief having gone to the dr. Happy pregnancy!!

That is totally normal, I did not see my doctor until 8 weeks....there is nothing for them to do earlier than that unless you are high risk....don't worry

I only saw my doctor at 6 weeks because I hadn't ever been to the practice before.
But I didn't get my bloodwork done until almost 10 weeks.

Totally normal... I didn't see mine until 8 weeks for both pregnancies. With DS, I didn't get a sono until 20 weeks. With this one they did a sono early bc I wasn't sure when my last period was so they needed to give me an EDD.
