Painting rooms?
There are a bunch of rooms we want to paint in the house we will be closing on shortly. Some of them are regular rooms, but 2 have higher, kind of pitched ceilings. Should I atempt to paint myself? Or maybe have someone paint the high ceiling rooms and do the others myself? How much does it cost to hire a painter anyway?
THANKS!

Re: Painting rooms?
I would attempt to do it yourself. But that's just me. I've painted all of our rooms in our house, including the high foyer that we have. If you find that it's too hard... call someone.

Re: Painting rooms?
Good idea! I never even thought about trying it and then callling in someone to bail me out if needed. Maybe I'll start with the small extra bedroom and if it goes well, move onto the other rooms.

It runs about $250 a room to give you an idea.

Re: Painting rooms?
painting regular rooms is actually pretty easy so i'm sure you can do those yourself. Just make sure you paint the ceiling first and then the walls.
