Convertable Couch

DH wants to take the full bed out of our second guest bedroom and put a pull out sofa in there instead so that we can make the room a playroom for Joseph.
In my experience, all pull out beds stink! I have yet to sleep on one where the bar did not jam into my back all night. Does anyone know, firsthand, of a GOOD convertable couch/bed?

Re: Convertable Couch

We have a futon in our livingroom. I've slept on it for a few weeks (no, not at DW's request.... Chat Icon , but recovering from surgery) It's got a pretty comfy mattress. While not quite as comfortable as a regular bed, it's not bad. My sister used it as her primary bed for a couple of years.

Agh, thank you for adding that as I wouldn't have even thought of it. I will add futon's to the list of things to check out.

Re: Convertable Couch

honestly I put an air mattress on top of the pullout bed. We have a Jennifer & it is the most comfy one I have slept on, but it is still a thin mattress.

We have the single layer air mattress, not that big gignormous thing with a box-spring layer.
