I believe right now its at about 6.2% for a 30yr fixed.

wow! i closed a month ago and am paying 5.875%. they certainly have gone up

They have! We got our pre-confirmation at that rate and since then it's gone up, last week it went up a lot. Yesterday, the rate was between 6.2%-6.3%.
The fed isn't expected to raise interest rates today, hopefully that will lead to stabilization or a slight decline!!!

watch the 10 year treasury moreso that the fed rates. the treasuries have gone up in the past few weeks
