furniture arrangement question...
we have an open floor plan and had our living room, TV etc., was set up on the side of our great room, that doesn't have a cable attachment in the wall, and the dining room was on the opposite side where we have a fireplace.
my husband just switched these two around, making the living room by the fireplace.
my question is, is the TV safe (it's a 42") next to the fireplace? that's where the cable attachment is, so that's where i'm assuming the builders meant to have us put the TV.
i'd say the fireplace is 4-5 feet away from the TV.
thanks for your opinions! i will attach pics soon since we've only been in the place for 2 months!

What kind of TV is it? Some install plasma's above fireplaces. I personally would not do it but I know some do. I would guess if some install TV's above fireplaces than next to would be ok. If you have a pic that might help.
