Can I ask for some prayers for DH, please? UPDATED
We found out a little while ago that DH has something called a Carotid Body Paraganglioma, which is basically a benign growth on his carotid artery in his neck.
It's a rare disease and very slow growing, but also potentially very serious as it can cut off the blood supply to his brain.
The good news is that it's very treatable, the bad news is that the positioning of it makes it tricky to remove.
The plan is to have surgery sometime in January to remove it, but in order to know what we are dealing with, DH has to have an Angiogram tomorrow to see how far progressed it is.
Angiograms are pretty common, but I'm still a nervous wreck. And I know that the news we get from this is going to have a huge impact one way or another.
We go to the hospital at 9:30 tomorrow morning. The procedure takes about 45 minutes with a 4 hour recovery time.
I would appreciate any prayers you can spare.
QUICK UPDATE:
DH's procedure went fine.
They pretty much saw what they expected to see. Which is good and bad.
Good because it's really no WORSE than they thought. Bad because there is still defintely a need for a very scary surgery in the next couple of weeks.
The procedure itself was 45 minutes and DH was fine with that, but then he had to lay still for 4 hours - flat on his back. 
He was going out of his mind. Plus around hour 2 he got a really bad migraine so I was running around the recovery room begging them for ice packs and to turn off lights and to unhook his monitor for a little bit so the beeping would stop. 
He can't sit up or drive or do anything remotely active for the next couple days, so I'm home playing nursemaid.
Thank you all for your prayers and hugs. I'm sure I'll need more as we find out next steps.
