Anyone have double front doors?
We're looking to redo the front of the house, and I like the idea of either having double front entry doors, or a door with sidelights, where the one sidelight can hinge. I've banged and struggled around a single door for years, trying to bring big stuff in and out of the house.
My main concern is, a friend of mine had double doors, and said that there was always a draft where the doors met, and he was pretty sure that if he didn't have an overhang over the doors, snow would come in during heavy snowstorms.
Anyone have this problem, or did he just have an older, less efficient setup?
Any other pros/cons to double front doors?

Re: Anyone have double front doors?
My parents house has double front doors, there has never been a draft and no snow has ever come into the house. One of the doors doesn't usually open, but can be opened if needed.

I have always wanted double doors but our entrance way is way to small for it!
I think that your friends doors may be hung improperly. I dont think that if they are hung properly you will get a draft or snow.
