Taxes
When you purchase a house, do the property/school taxes go up for the new homeowner or are they basically the same as they were listed ?

they don't change with new ownership. They change when there is a re-assessment.

Also, if purchased from an Estate, your taxes could go up then. But an adjustment would have been done at closing.
