The Closing
So, we got our closing date (December 13!!!)  Does anyone have any advice on what to expect at the closing, besides what our lawyer said, which was, "Bring two forms of ID and all the money you have in the world"? We're homebuying virgins, and have no idea what it's going to be like. Thanks!

Make sure you have a couple of extra checks in your checkbook. They may be some little things - extra oil left in the tank, things the seller pre-paid (water, sewer, etc.) that you might need to reimburse them for.

Be prepared to sign your name ALOT! Like everyone else said, bring a few checks and your IDs and you'll be fine.

I wore jeans and a sweater. Go as comfortable as possible since you will be sitting there for about 2-3 hrs signing your life away
