agree Malverne is very pretty. There main st area is adorable, cute little train station, places to eat and indepent film movie theater

I live in Malverne, its a very small quiet quaint town. Theres noting really in it to be honest. Theres no night life or anything. The town itself is very old

I also live in Malverne.
I agree not much nightlife except for Connelly's. But they the town soo beautiful esp now during the holiday's. They do have a great new rest Blue Sky, an artsy kind of movie theatre, a bowling alley, tanning, card store, the BEST deli ever

If Im buying a house, I dont want a town with nightlife personally. 3 of my nieces & nephews work at Connelys Station and its definitely the extent of the nightlife in town. I love Malverne, we have lots of family who live there so we are there alot. We went to their tree lighting last night and it was so nice, alot of the stores opened to offer treats to kids, hot cider, Santa pics, chestnuts roasting on an open fire (literally), petting zoo....really very family oriented and well kept.

I live right next to Malverne in West Hempstead. It's such a nice town but absolutely no nightlife. My girlfriend just went to some tree lighting thing last night there. It's a very old town but it has so much charm...I think it's cute!!

Sorry to Hijack but I know you are moving to Farmingdale...make sure you take advantage of Farmingdale Village too....I love it here, I live in the villagae myself....Lots of restaurants, some new shops that just opened up....and we had our own tree lighting last week too!!!

I drove past the village when we were driving around and I loved it! I think it's great when there is a cute town that still has that old charm to it...I can't wait to move there!!!!
