do you think that you can have more than one soulmate?

for instance, you marry but your spouse passes away and he or she was your soulmate but then after time you fall in love again and you found another soulmate. is that possible?
what do you think?

Right now I would have to say no, I just cant imagine feeling about anyone else the way I feel about my DH. I guess things change as the years go by, but right now I can't imagine it.

I think it's possible. My aunt and uncle were married for over 10 years when she got sick and passed away. He was devestated, but about 5-6 years later he met a great woman (divorced w/a son) and got married again. They've been happily married for 16 years.

As happy as I am with DH right now and can't imagine ever loving another person, I absolutely believe this. I believe in the term "Mr/Ms right now". I believe everyone has the perfect person for them at whichever stage of life they are in at that momet. Everyone changes. With that, I truely feel that people come into your life for a reason. Hopefully everyone learns from mistakes and uses the lessons to make them stronger.

I think it is possible because what if part of your SO's soul goes into another person. Sounds out there but if we are talking about souls and stuff like that, its possible.

Hmm, I have mixed feelings about this one..

On the one hand I truly feel I was fated to be with my FH, on the other hand I have had one relationship in my past that felt just as right, but due to circumstances and age difference, I being the older one it just couldn't work itself out..

I am a big believer in this saying, Someone comes into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime... maybe that past relationship was there to teach how to tell the real thing from the fantasy?? who knows...

I have never called DH my soulmate. We are made to love each other, but are very different. I do not think he is the only one that I could ever love, but I would constantly compare him to other men if I was on the dating scene again. No one would compare or measure up to DH, but I think I would be capable of loving another

No. I have only one soulmate, and it's my wife. I can't imagine what my life would be like without her.

Actually i don't think i believe in soul mates either...

I think that people love... and If (God forbid anything happens to me or my DH..) We will both be able to find love again!

I totally believe in this. I think there are 3 or 4 people that are meant to be in your life and would qualify as a soul mate- they may not all be romantic relatinoships, but some may have the potential. I also think that more people out there can make you happy, even if they aren't your soul's mate.

I believe there is one soul mate for everyone. However I believe less than 50% of happily married people actually are married to their soulmate. Personally I believe that there are a handful of people you could be overly in love and happy with for your life, but they may not necessarily be your one soulmate. I think that the choices we make in life may lead us to a different person (kinda like the choose your own adventure books)so these "hand ful of people" I am talking about may be spread out all over the world based on the travels you will take in life. I just think its really unrealistic to think that out of the billions of people in the world that all the happily married people are with their soulmate.

I love my DH and have no doubt that I will spend forever with him, but I dont think I can even venture a guess to whether he is my "soulmate". I think thats something that cant be determined after 5, 10 or even 20 years. It may be something more like how a great artist is much more appreicated after his death. And when your life is totally complete and one can look upon EVERYTHING that happened with their spouse only then can one determine if they are with their soulmate.

So to answer your question, yes I totally believe that you can lose your spouse who you loved with all your heart and find love again.
