My grandparents have lived there for over 60 years and my Aunt just retired from being a Dean at Patchogue-Medford HS.
Just like any other neighborhood, there are nice areas and not so nice areas.

honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Pat-Med. There is some nice areas but then there are some really rough areas. I would def. check out the area 100% before I considered living there.
