Habitat Restore

just wanted to let everyone know about this-it is a great resource for do it yourselfers. We bought atoilet there that works great for $20! My BIL bought a acuzzi tub for 120. Basically it is stuff that builders donate leftover from big projects. It is run by Habitat for Humanity and they sell the excess things to make $$. I have seen lots of Kohler stuff even some Grohe items. Check it out

yes there is a TON of stuff. The one in Ronkonkomsa used to be in Centereach and it was honestly a mess0-they had brand new tubs in trailers and faucets just laying around. It is great if you're handy though and the prices are unbelievable. I may even go buy some stuff there and sell it on e-bay!

Re: Habitat Restore

We've been there a couple times and got some great deals. My neighbor renovated almost her whole house from this place. You never know what they're going to have, and if it happens to be something you need you'll get a great deal. Just don't leave without buying what you want, or leaving a ticket on it (you can reserve it for three days, but they can't guarantee that someone won't take your ticket off) - sometimes, you go back even the next day and the item is sold!
