Why do taxes vary so much?
I am looking at 2 houses on the same block. They are identical on the outside. The only difference is that one has a pool.
The one with the pool has taxes that are $8,700 and the one without is $6,700.
Why is it so different?

i would call the town to verify them if you are looking on MLS. one might be including STAR?

that's why a lot of people don't want a pool, the increase of taxes and the insurance and liability.
