cost of mortgage?
i know that there are sites uout there nto calculate mortgaes... but if we were to get a mortgage for like 350k what would the mortgage be for us..
not including taxes...
thanks so much - we are trying to figue out what we can afford monthly... and we heard that mortgages over 350k are considered jumbo and are treated diffeerntly

It all depend on the kind of mortgage you get and how much you put down, but there is a calculator on MLS. Alternatively, there are mortgage providers on the Businesses Helping Families board who can help you as well.

a $350K mortgage at 6.5% fixed for thirty years is $2212.24
eta: and a jumbo mortgage is a mortgage over $417K.

FOR EVERY 100K YOU BORROWW FIGURE ON LETS SAY 7% ITS 700 DOLLARS
SO OF YOU BORROW 300K IS 2100 APPROX

You also need to factor in tax (which varies by property) and homeowners insurance.
