Cleaning Person...
Do any of you have a cleaning person clean your house? If so, how often does he/she come? How much does he/she charge?
The MINUTE I get tenure, I'm giving myself the gift of someone ELSE cleaning my house. My house is clean now, but I hate every single minute of it and each week it's me cleaning, kicking and screaming (lol). I have NO time whatsoever to spend cleaning, and I refuse to do all of this when we have kids... DH is a great help and everything, but just the thought of cleaning IRKS me...
Any thoughts?
ETA: Does anyone feel GUILTY not cleaning your own house? DH's family is from Italy, right off the boat, and they grow their own arugula for pete's sake (lol)... If they even KNEW I was thinking of doing this, they'd crap themselves...

We have two cleaners that come twice a month and charge $100 for each visit. But, we also have 3100 sq/ft so that's why it's a little more than usual...

we have someone come every 3 wks (really should change it to every other though) and it's $60 but we have a fairly small 1BR apt.
i have NO guilt whatsoever. we work so much that it's the only thing that allows time for the gym and quality time together.

I have 1 girl who now works with 2-3 other people. They come all together, once a week, and are here for about an hour. They charge me $60 and our house is pretty big.
I do not feel guilty about it at all....while they are here I am working myself at what I do best, and getting paid for it (well I am self-employed but you get the idea). My time is valuable to me.

We have someone come every week and we pay $60. I have no guilt what-so-ever....I hate cleaning

I have someone come every three weeks to clean my apartment. It's worth every penny -- $50. Though she'll probably charge $75 or so when we move into our house. Go for it!

I have a cleaning girl in every other week and she charges $65.
She is worth every penny and as for feeling guilty....not even for a minute!

I have a cleaning woman who comes every week, with 2 or 3 of her daughters. Its 50 dollars for my house, wich i only have her clean one level. There is 1 bedroom and bathroom on this level. kitchen living room and comp room. I supply all the cleaning products. they do not do my dishes wich really erks me.
they will change my sheets though.

Every other Thursday..$70. The best money I ever spent.
I have absolutely no guilt whatsoever. DH's friends make fun of him that he has a cleaning person. I think they're jealous.
But they were over one day while she was cleaning and they were impressed. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
