Spinoff: when do you start buying maternity clothes?
When did you feel like you really had to rely on "bigger" clothes / when did you start to show?

I was too uncomfortable in most of my normal pants by week 8. They'd fit okay in the morning, but by the afternoon I would be in pain.
Last year this time I had lost a bunch of weight and so everything is tight on me for the fall/winter.
I have a couple pairs of maternity pants and one pair of jeans that I'm going to wear until they come undone!!

showing and wearing maternity for comfort are 2 different realities.
I started wearing maternity bottoms around 10 weeks with DD for comfort. Tops I think I started at 16 weeks.

I am 7w & already uncomfortable in my jeans. I already bought one size up. And I look like I am hiding a small watermelon under my sweater.

About 8 weeks, I tried the bella band but then went right to maternity, they are SO comfy

Regular clothes still fit me 
Jeans do get a little uncomfortable after I eat so I release the button

Seriously.
The first time I tried on the Gap ones with the little button thingys on the inside and the elastic in the back I told DH I wanted to find out whoever invented them and kiss them hard on the lips.
Plus, they still look like normal pants so no one knows yet.

I am going to check out Gap Maternity when I need to....those pants sound great!

I am wearing my first pair of maternity jeans today I am just over 12 weeks. Some of my regular pants fit me, but they just aren't comfortable and I feel like I am pulling at them all of the time.

I am 4.5 wks and I bloated right away. Now... I am NOT eating more than usual. Actually I am eating less.
My regular pants are REALLY tight. I just got a couple of pants at Target. First day wearing them. They won't go too far into the pregnancy but there are great for now.

First time around, I worked that Bella Band until like week 25--I refused to buy work pants (I was off for the summer starting week 30)! I guess I did start wearing the bottoms around week 14? Tops at week 17 definitely.
I am currently 12 weeks and still do not need maternity clothes; however, I do wear them sometimes for comfort's sake I guess...or to convince myself that I really am pregnant...I'm still a bit superstitious until my doctor's appt. tomorrow. After that, I'll let it all hang out!

I am in week 17, and can still wear some of my regular clothes, however, the "fitted" stuff just became too small for me quite recently - this morning I had to say "see you soon" to my favorite pair of nice pants, and put on a comfortable pair of black maternity pants. A lot of people can't believe I am already wearing a pair of maternity pants because I am not that big yet, but big enough where they are fitting well - some of the maternity clothes I bought look ridiculous at this point - they may need to wait til 3rd trimester...
