How often do you go food shopping??
We go so sporadically it drives me crazy...but we are both busy.

Us too. Right now I have ZERO food in the house and I don't plan on going anytime soon since I have a busy week and we won't be home to eat the food!
I may go buy some stuff to take for lunches though.
DH made some kraft mac and cheese with half and half because we had to milk! It was good!

once a week for the bulk of it, but I sometimes stop in 1 or 2 additional times a week if I run out of something or if I need an ingredient for a new recipe.

I try to not go more than 1 every other week. It's so hard with a little one around. But for that reason, I need to always have milk around...LOL

I go food shopping pretty much everyday. I do a lot of local shopping so I go to the butchers, the fishmonger, the green grocer and I go to the supermarket for other things (like cleaning products, packaged goods etc)also I shop at the Organic Grocery thats at the end of my street Its a very sort of European way to live, but I love it! I decide what I am going to eat and then go out and buy it....I only have a tiny fridge and freezer, so I can't overstuff it. I love supporting my local merchants and I love knowing that all my food is really fresh!

I try to do a decent sized shop every week but sometimes it doesn't happen and then I just end up going to the local market for a few things here and there.
I usually do a big shop at Costco once/month.

We got to Costco like once a month for all the big things then the supermarkent once or twice a week...I HATE food shopping so I try to get everything done at once.

I end up going once a week for a "big" run, and then I stop by on weeknights here and there if I need something for a particular dish I am cooking.
I LOVE my supermarket though... I have a strange obsession with it.

I love this way! But nothing like that is really in walking distance. Oh well.
I go once a week plus whenever we need something that can't wait.
I go AFTER work or I won't go at all. No more weekends!!! I like to hit the farmer's market for produce and ethnic foods and then waldbaums for stuff. I make a list and try to keep the price down.

Me too. I call them science projects. I just washed out my veggie bin...EEWWWWW.
I ran my errands for the day and now I'm going to slap on a coat of paint on the laundry room ceiling. I didn't go to the supermarket but I will probably order in something tonight. Maybe Chinese.
Tomorrow I won't be home at all until at least 11:00pm. Tuesday the same and then Wednesday I'll probably pick up some chicken to make but I think DH has to work late that night too.
(sigh) some life we lead! Thursday I will be at a doc appt after work so maybe Sushi! Friday and Saturday night DH is working so I will finish painting.
See! No use for food shopping!!!!
Not this week anyway.
This week is not the norm though. We had nothing in the fridge because we were going to AZ and I didn't want to shop to throw away stuff that would have gone bad anyway.
Geez...wait till I have a kid..this will definitely change!

Every other Tuesday. I leave the kids home with DH and I get the whole hour to myself 
If we ned to along the week in between, we'll pick up milk, bread, eggs, etc.

Once a week. I used to go a couple fo times a week but I felt too rushed coming home to cook after working all day and food shopping. Now I go Saturday or Sunday and buy enough for the week.
