Any teachers that moved to NC?

I am looking for feedback on teachers. I heard from everyone how nice it is to live there, but is it nice to teach there? Anyone work at a year round school?

FH and I briefly thoughta bout moving to NC.

he is a teacher. he took one look at the salary guide and realized he would take a half pay cut.

we didnt get into the full year school situation - but my aunt's sister is a teacher in FL who does year round school - they go for a few months, have a 3 week break, go for a while, have another break, etc. but every SD might be different.

I also found a NC chat board (i searched on google) and people who were teachers were saying they needed to move to a cheaper area bc they werent paid enough. it was enough for us not to want to move.
