What do you think of this bedding?

I really love this, and though we are going to find out the baby's gender, I may get this even for a girl. But I wonder if I might regret not choosing something more feminine...Thoughts?

Sorry I don't like it. I am not a fan of the animal prints.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

I hesistate to post, since I know you are asking for an opinion, but if others chose this design..I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings..

With that said, its not bad, but it doesn't give off that cozy nursery vibe to me.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

Too busy and I don't really like the colors. I also wouldn't like it for a girl.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

To me...that is more appropriate for a toddler boy. I like baby looking things for nurseries...light colors.

Not a problem. Chat Icon I'm still looking around and thinking, and wishing I could afford something from Pottery Barn! Chat Icon

ETA: It DOES look like way too much brown- there's a pic of the 6 piece set alone and it looks a lot nicer. Boy or girl, the nursery is going to be painted a pale green because it will be used for this baby and #2, if and when we decide to go there. Chat Icon

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

We have this for Connor? I actually love it! I normally hate these colors, but for some reason it works really well. I was looking for a jungle or dinosaur theme. This was the only one I liked. I guess I'm in the minority because I prefer not so light colors. With Caiden I had a Cat in the Hat theme so he had bright red, blue colors. I found that when Caiden turned a certain age to me he seemed to be more of a big boy so I didn't want to have a "baby" theme I wanted something that would last a bit longer. To me the softer pastel colors don't work for that long. Well at least with Caiden it didn't. He seemed too big for them. But that's JMO!!! Chat Icon

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

If you found this at BRU - look at the pattern called "Zanzibar". It is the same general idea, but I think it's cuter.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

It's cute, but it looks more "boy" to me. If I knew I was having a girl I would want something more "girly."

JMO.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

I think the picture is a bit overkill of the whole pattern. Less is more sometimes and I think a few pieces of it would be cute. I like it for a boy but def not for a girl. JMHO Chat Icon

I'd chose it if I knew it was a boy. I wouldn't chose it as a gender-neutral selection.

Register at pottery barn- you will definately get your bedding from someone! Get what you like, not what YOU personally can afford.

This is advice I got from other mom's when they saw my registery had nothing on it.Chat Icon

That is Zanzibar- and the more I look at that actual pic the less I like it! But I saw it in person and it looks much nicer. I just think that pic has way too much going on.

Re: What do you think of this bedding?

I find it too busy - sort of gives me a headache looking at it... Even for a boy, I like that nice soft looking bedding that makes me say - aaaahhhh - like you can imagine a little baby snuggled up inside it - this doesnt send off that vibe....

sorry - hope I didnt offend you - but you did ask for opinions!!!
