irony? Sign?
Two of my patients today had siblings that were multiples (one with triplet sisters and one with twin brothers). Can I hope this is a sign?

back story (yes I watch too much lost) a referential delusion is basically when you believe that things have hidden meanings and usually they have some special reference to you. So an example would be that when you scratch your nose you are really trying to tell me that I am funny looking. Although not uncommon they arent the most common type of delusion.
Anyway after I saw these patients I was laughing with the psychiatrist that if I was referential this would have really freaked me out. Then I realized that both these patients also had referential delusions.
I might be grasping at straws here but I really need something to hold on to or I might really lose my mind. Maybe I am supposed to be referential.
