Bar Mitzvah Gift Question
Our family was invited to a friends' sons bar mitzvah- Were invited to the service and the kiddush- not the reception at the catering hall.
We plan to attend and bring a gift - what is an appropriate gift amount for this part of the event/celebration?

Bar Mitzvah Gift Question
I would think something in the $50 range would be good. I think the number 18 is significant in the Jewish faith, so people give in multiples of 18. You could do $54 ($18 x 3).

Yes - definitely do a multiple of $18. I would think in the $50 range is good too since you are just invited to the services, not the reception.

Bar Mitzvah Gift Question
I personally think its super rude to invite someone to services and not to the reception.
I would give like 36.
