5th Grade Graduation Gift Ideas
What did you get your child when they graduated 5th grade?
My original plan was a cell phone but we gave that to her for Christmas because we got a really good deal.
I don't want to go too crazy but want to get her something meaningful.

5th Grade Graduation Gift Ideas
I don't think we gave her anything, TBH. She got a cell phone, but that was in the summer right before her birthday and the beginning of middle school.
And, this district doesn't have any moving up ceremonies for 5th Grade or 8th Grade. They only have a HS graduation! It's a bummer! I understand not doing much for 5th grade, but I feel like they should do something for 8th grade.

I don't know if they do this in your district but the kids decorate their lockers in middle school. We got her a whole basket of decorations, wall paper, rugs, shelves, lights, mirrors etc. She already had a phone and iwatch.

we got her a graduation bracelet from etsy, an initial necklace bc she wanted one and a cute graduation in quarantine type tshirt and took her out to dinner with the family.

Nothing.
She got a phone in late Sept when DH was able to purchase the new iphone that came out and so he gave her his old one.

This is a really cute idea! I will have to find out. I know they go to orientation at the middle school in August and can do a run through of their classes and find out where their locker is located.
My daughter's birthday is in August and that year we got her a shelf for the locker, a mirror, and other suff. She liked it, but she didn't use them the next school year. Five Below and Walmart should have them in the Back to School section (which is available in June!).
