look who he was running against. The Democrats didn't have anyone better, IMO.

I support the president. I don't vote by party - but by candidate. For me - he was the better candidate in 2004. Don't agree with everything he has done, but i still support him.

well i guess i just can't understand why anyone would lose respect for an entire nation for what one 2 term leader did..
I don't think it's right, but I think the lack of respect comes from the fact that 1) the 2000 election made us look like a laughingstock and then 2) we reelected him.

I know every politician is somehow going to lie...but I can not tolerate Bush, or most of his cabinet.

During the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, President Bush and his aides sternly dismissed suggestions that the war was all about oil. "Nonsense," Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld declared. "This is not about that," said White House spokesman Ari Fleischer.
Now, more than 3 1/2 years later, someone else is asserting that the war is about oil -- President Bush.
As he barnstorms across the country campaigning for Republican candidates in Tuesday's elections, Bush has been citing oil as a reason to stay in Iraq. If the United States pulled its troops out prematurely and surrendered the country to insurgents, he warns audiences, it would effectively hand over Iraq's considerable petroleum reserves to terrorists who would use it as a weapon against other countries.
I think the whole adminstration is horrible. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Snow, etc. I could go on.

Couldn't agree more. He's messed up our country so bad. The Iraq war bothers me, but not as bad as those poor folks were treated in New Orleans. I want to dump his body on a roof top surrounded by toxic water with no electricity, running water, heat, food, water and see how long he could last. Oh, but then maybe I'd also dump him in the Superdome (ie meth house that it was) and make him suffer. I don't care how at fault the mayor & the governor were, the pres has the final say. Hello, Jeb gets help to FL faster. It was disgusting. I've never seen US citzens treated so bad in my life!!
I didn't vote for him the past 2 elections and maybe Clinton was too "busy", but he would have NEVER EVER treated US citizens that badly. I was a huge fan of Kerry, but how much worse can we get!!!!!!!

I think that the European paper that asked "how 51,987,654 can be SO stupid" put it perfectly (roundabout of how many people voted FOR Bush, 50 million for Kerry)
It's amazing what scare tactics can do to a nation....

surely, it was a fact that drugs were being done in the superdome and crystal meth was one of them. Hence why some folks now are suffering the aftereffects.
check out nola.com for more information. But my point was no US citzen, no human, deserve to be treated the way our government treated those folks
