I Hate People
So I am 33 weeks and I have only gained 23lbs so far, not bad right?
I am so sick of people asking me if I am having twins, or when I say I am not due for another 7 weeks they either say, "wow, your huge" or "are you sure your not due sooner?"
I had a lady in the supermarket yesterday say, "wow, you must have a big, healthy baby". What are you trying to say?
Is anyone else aggrevated by these type of comments?

Try to ignore them. I gained 12lbs total and actually lost 2lbs at my last appt, and someone told me today I look pointy 
I was however having a contraction.

I know exactly how you feel - I'm constantly told it's twins (I feel like responding "HELLO - it's one child, I think I should know better than you") I had a complex for a while because I thought I was just too big and started thinking it's all fat! 
Some people are so rude they don't even realize it! While it's hard to ignore them it is the best advice to give!
Take it as a sign that baby is healthy!

i know how u feel - just ignore them!!!! i've probably gained 24 pounds and i'm in week 29 but it is all in my belly - so everyone constantly says "wow u r huge - r u sure its only 1"....
do people think it is a compliment when they word it like that??? i dont really take it as one - yes i am proud of my belly but still!

Ohh boy.. does that bring back memories. I carried very large and I am a short small person to begin with so I looked even bigger. People would tell me all the time how HUGE I was. I mean I would say it too but when complete strangers are stopping me in the store telling me I wanted to kill them! Eventually I stopped going out because I was tired of all the looks I got. People have no idea how comments like that can upset a pregnant woman.

SHE looks like she is having TRIPLETS. and she ain't pregnant!

I got it all the time with my first. Especially the twins comments. It really depends on where your uterus is. I saw this article in a magazine years ago - 3 women all 8 months preggo and they looked tiny, medium and huge.

This is exactly my problem. I am short and all the weight that I have gained is only in my belly so I am huge. But my mom keeps telling me that my family is known for carrying big anyway. It's still so annoying!
