Maybe I am getting old
But I asked around to get ear piercing prices and got $60 and $75. I know it is the earring they are charging for but I thought maybe it was closer to $30.

Ahh yeah 
Looking to get my 3rd again. I got my first in 1985, 2nd 1987, 3rd I think early 90’s. One of my kids has a bunch but they pay now so don’t even follow that anymore.

Just paid $75 per person at CLAIRE'S. Yup, it's crazy. They are 14k gold at least. We got my DD's ears pierced for her b-day and she made me get a second hole in mine at the same time.

my pediatrician pierced my ears right after giving me my very first round of vaccinations... back in 1973. my mother didn't pay. it was part of the well baby visit 
i have a son and he's never modified his body... so i have never paid for piercing.
these prices are nuts!!
