I got 26. Someone of them I skipped. I mean I wear makeup, but when I work from home I do not. I paint my own nails. I shave almost every day.

I own a lot of shoes, but I have only a few in daily rotation. I spent a lot on designer classic shoes (Fiorentini and Baker mainly) in the past 20 years and I still wear them. They have held up so well, that I haven’t had to buy shoes in a long time. I do not wear heels, but I have a classic pair.

I like designer bags, but I use them until they go. I just recycle my collection. Haven’t bought a bag in a while.

I wouldn’t say I’m high maintenance. I just use the things I have. What is high maintenance anyway?

Your last question is a good question as on another "quiz" they included showering everyday. I wouldn't think that would be high maintenance to clean up everyday lol

I am the same with my bags as I use the same ones all the time but I do carry designer ones from 28 and 29 years old still which have held up pretty good.

Well, I take about 5-6 showers a week. I clean up every day, though. Sometimes I take a shower at night and go out the next day and take a shower the following day in the morning. But that started in the pandemic when I didn’t have to go to work in person. Now that is changing.

That is is normal weather. In summer, I can take two showers a day since a/c doesn’t really exist here.

Yeah I get the not showering everyday especially if not leaving the house or seeing anyone but I just feel dirty and at least have to clean up.

I thought I was higher but again, not having an office to go to daily changed that a bit I guess. I won't be wearing a full face of makeup and my high heels to sit in my bedroom and work Chat Icon

But some of the things were weird- like owns more than 25 SCARVES?
That's an odd one.

And what is permanent make up? Like micro bladed brows? Or the old school tattooed on eyeliner? Chat Icon

Either 38 or 48 lol...I'm not really sure what qualifies as "a lot" of jewelry, so IDK if I should add for that one.

My mom has a friend who got permanent makeup done and honestly, it looks SO awful. She had her eyeliner and brows tattooed on (I kid you not) and her lashes permanently dyed. Chat Icon

I get my eyebrows microbladed/shaded. I actually did my yearly visit yesterday. It a personal choice because without it i have very thin 90s eyebrows that never grew out of being overplucked.

I guess it all depends on who you go to and how good of an artist they are to do such things. Maybe your mom needs to tell her friend to start going somewhere else.

I actually want to do microblading. My brows are destroyed as well from overwaxing in the 90s and just general aging I guess. And I am not good at filling them in and it's such a pain so getting microblading would be ideal for me.
When I think of "permanent" make up though I think of the old school stuff- like what Hofstra described... I feel like 15 + years ago they hadn't perfected it.
And it could look scary as you age...
I think well done microblading can look very natural

Some microblading looks so bad too. It looks so fake on many and if you watch news reporters you see it a lot and it just changes your face and doesn't look natural.

Thats the one thing holding me back. I'd have to find someone really really good and see a ton of their work before I'd commit. Because yeah, I can see if that goes wrong, it really goes wrong

I did microblading a few years back. I loved it at the time but I used a well known place. I didn't keep up with it and it faded though. TBH I can't be bothered with the upkeep and it's very $$$.
With that said....surprisingly got over 40 points on the high maintenance quiz. Pre-COVID it would have been higher lol but I think I'm pretty low key at least compared to some of the things I see on social

It is semi permanent so it will fade if you don't do it every year or two. Personally, best decision i made. I don't go overboard and get thick eyebrows. Mine are still thin but they are shaped correctly and i don't have to mess with pencils or powder to even them out because its done for me.

But yes, permanent tattoo makeup is a different beast. That you are stuck with regardless and if done wrong you are screwed unless you laser it off.
