NJ lifting school mask mandate
BREAKING: Gov. Phil Murphy is expected to lift the school mask mandate that has been in place since 2020, according to the New York Times.
Hopefully NY will follow.

Nah our bitchh is on a power trip. She'll keep the mandates. You'll have to pry them out of her cold dead hand.

Nah our ***** is on a power trip. She'll keep the mandates. You'll have to pry them out of her cold dead hand.
Yup. It depends on vax rates, etc she has said.
Hopefully the appellate court overturns the stay tomorrow!
ETA - the mask mandate in NJ isn’t lifted until 3/7. Hopefully one of the 4 Omicron sub variants doesn’t take over before then.

What's her obsession with vax rates in CHILDREN? When the vax doesn't stop the spread?
I know 2 people at work who are out today with Covid- who are fully vaxed and caught it from....wait for it EACH OTHER!
She's so stupid.

Oh I am sure but still hoping.
The numbers have gone from 27% to 4% in less than 2 months so no need to keep this up. Isn't the 10th the next deadline for her?

Why do they lift a mask mandate but then make it like 3 weeks away??? You know coming back from winter break they are going to freak again. Also what happen to the crazy testing from 2 weeks ago?? It all seemed to go away. The craze to get the home tests, standing in line for hours and then all of a sudden poof all gone

NJ schools do get the winter break. They get a break in February and also in April. Some schools may not get a full February break, less than a week.

True but many people get sick at that time of the year anyway. I see my old fb posts and in December and January I had posted I was sick years back. I know they were just colds but it is that time of the year.

I have never tested so for all I know I've had Covid 4 or 5 times.

True. It's all about testing. Testing up= numbers up
Testing down=numbers donw.
I have never tested so for all I know I've had Covid 4 or 5 times.
I wake up most mornings feeling like I have it.
I only test for work and have been fine but I have had times that I felt off so who knows. I have also been exposed to a few people, very closely and felt fine after.
Stop testing, test only if you are sick and even then just stay home unless it gets really bad. Just like with everything else in life, how you used to live.

I don't believe NJ public schools get winter break.
My son has a week off, some districts to get the week off. My SS used to when he was in school.

My nieces bf has it. He was vaccinated in June, got his booster Christmas eve and now has Covid. His whole family does. Even though his twin brother tested positive last weekend, he was allowed to go to school because he is "totes vaccinated". My nieces bf tested positive this pass Sat. after testing negative from the rapid and first PCR. Hmm wonder why this thing keeps spreading must be those UNvaccinated folks. 
They need to be done with this already and let people decide who wants to wear masks and who wants to be vaccinated.

This is true my son and BIL tested positive on a home test and just quarantined. It wasn't reported and no one went to the doctors.

Yes! An exposed child can go to school if they are vaccinated. So if they have a parent or sibling with Covid they can just go to school and possibly be spreading it all around school.
I know they did this to "reward" the vaccinated people- hey you don' have to quarantine if you just get vaccinated- but the science of it makes ZERO sense.
But hey- since when does that matter right?
