Holiday shopping

With the supply chain issues - I’m concerned about holiday shopping. What are you buying now instead of waiting for Black Friday sales?

Re: Holiday shopping

My list has gotten so small throughout the years so nothing. Kids mostly want cash and/or gift cards. The people I do still buy for get gift cards so I think I am good :)

Re: Holiday shopping

My daughter only wants clothes so I don't see having an issue.
I don't buy gifts for adults so that's all I have to worry about

Re: Holiday shopping

I'm concerned, so I started already.

I bought the big ticket items already:
Ipads, basketball net, Xbox S (I can't find the newest version), and American Girl Doll.

My kids are still little, so I don't want to chance anything.

Holiday shopping

We started buying the toys we needed to buy already too. I think the kids are already half-way done. We need to start on the rest of the gifts that we normally buy as well.

I don't think Black Friday is worth the hype.
I'm of the mindset that if it's a good price and you can get it now, might as well buy now.

ITA with you. Chat Icon I've gotten some good Black Friday deals in the past however, if I can get a good deal on something before then I hop on it!

I'm not sweating my holiday shopping too much. I only buy for my parents, MIL and kids. My kids (thankfully) are past the age of having to track down the "it" toy of the season for them s they'll be happy with whatever they get.

Re: Holiday shopping

I do not really exchange gifts with people. I cut this out years ago because I do not need more stuff. If anything it is gift cards, a homemade gift, or just going out somewhere with the person.

My kids aren't really into toys much anymore. They want alot of clothes, shoes, etc. I think we'll be ok with those items.

Everyone else mostly gets gift cards.

Re: Holiday shopping

I already have a bunch of stuff for my young nieces (hot ticket items I happen to jump on early and get)

Rest get gift cards

DH and I are buying a peloton tread as a gift to each other and will get cute / funny gifts to open on Xmas day.

I’m almost done
