Car Shortages
Went today to look around for a new lease. Dealer had 42 cars when they normally have 600.
Did well though. Turning in lease, getting 2022 and paying $49 more a month which is not bad as got a sports version of the same car. So many more bells and whistles than car now.

Thank you.
My last car was just plain Jane as my credit score wasn’t as great. They actually didn’t even have any base ones to offer because of the lack of cars.

Yes. I bought out my lease.
Upside is I love my car and it's like brand new.
But man it's tough out there if you need a car.
My dealer said we probably won't see normal stock levels until 2023.

Yes. I bought out my lease.

Yup it is really crazy. Mine is ready for brakes and just really done and want a newer car. Hoping all works out :)

Car Shortages
My lease is up in December. We couldn’t order what we wanted because they are removing options from builds everyday because of part shortages. We found a dealer in PA who has what I want….but it’s still in Africa where it was built. Hoping it’s here in time, though I can extend my lease by 2 months. We’ve looked all up and down the east coast for this car and no one else has exactly what I want.

I work doing ppwk for tow trucks and all the manufactures (ram,Ford,etc) are cutting production by 50% throughout 2022. We are starting to see it now. No one has inventory anywhere.

Yeah even just driving by dealerships you can see how empty the lots are. Even the showroom had less cars.

I actually never felt such disgust for a president, governor and mayor in my entire life as I do now. Soon the city that’s already gone down the tubes will have a shortage of garbage men, police and fireman on top of everything else!

Same. It’s a mess. It’s not like it’s spreading currently in precincts and firehouses - well since everyone is either vaccinated or had Covid already from when it did spread and they didn’t have adequate PPE…

My husband is a car salesman and it's bad. One thing we have noticed is car repair shops seeing an uptick in business since everyone is hanging on to their cars now

Desantis is offering 5K for police officers to move to his state so they don't have to be vaccinated.
