Me either. The guys def escaped to Mexico and I bet by now even farther to a country in Central or South America.

It’s definitely possible but why go to such great lengths to have your body found?
Exactly. I feel that if someone is gonna commit suicide is not end their conflicted and unlivable life, they wouldn’t care if their body is found or not.

Anyone still following the Gabby Petito story?
I just don’t understand what he thinks the outcome will be if he’s still alive. Like how long will he be in hiding for? Years? Change his name? He can’t love off the land forever. Someone, somewhere will recognize him eventually.

Exactly it all makes no sense. Now the neighbors have had it and putting up signs of Gabbys picture facing their home.

The article I read last night said that the laws in Wyoming do not allow the ME to release any information other than how it happened - ex. homicide by strangulation.

So sad. That poor, young girl. I hope they get him too. I cannot believe they still haven't found him yet. I also hope they hold his POS family accountable in all of this as well since they basically hid him and allowed him to escape the police.

Okay I have a theory. Hear me out. I'll admit its a bit of a conspiracy theory. I have to give a little back story here.
Last night I had to attend a hearing for a variance on my property. As I was there they called a case and a lawyer got up and advocated for someone for a pool variance. I couldn't figure out where I knew him from but then I realized he is the owner of South Shore Pools. Then, this morning I was watching GMA and they were reading statements from the Laundry family attorney and it was him!
Why would his family hire a lawyer who runs an extremely busy pool construction business on Long Island rather than a high powered criminal attorney in Florida given the significant mess they have themselves in?
Here is my theory: As I have been saying all along, all this kid has to do is shave and wear a hat and he will blend into the scenery. My theory is he did just that, he is currently digging pools and any evidence is buried in someone's pool foundation.
(Is my true crime infatuation showing?  )

It seems he was their family lawyer for years so I guess they just decided to hire him. I am thinking they will have to go for a criminal lawyer eventually and someone down there would probably be better suited.
Odd he is a lawyer and business owner but there are many out there that have 2 jobs. Sounds like he might be doing too much now with this turning into such a big case.

I'm very gingerly going to say thats because no one has an answer.

Normal people have no idea how easy it is when you gather enough money. There are even fake Covid cards being used.
In many Spanish countries, they are called "coyotes". They help smuggle in people with all sorts of fake papers (birth certificate, ID, and even high school/college diplomas). It is not cheap but it can be done.

You would be very surprised. All they need to do is find someone who does it. In Florida, its not that hard to find.
