Key Largo
Anyone ever stay at a resort in Key Largo? Looking into it for my 40th. Any recommendations?
My friends and I are going to fly into Ft Lauderdale and stay at my parents condo for a night and then I want to drive somewhere else and stay at a resort for a couple nights. I've done Miami and I am not really a fan - never been to Key Largo and its only an hour and half drive a way it says.

Playa Largo Resort and Spa on Key Largo
The ONLY way to go.
It was the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed at in the United States.
You wont' regret it.

You wont' regret it.
OMG i saw this place and it looks amazing...but sooo expensive. My husband said he would pay for the 6 of us for my 40th, but not sure he is OK with over 3K for 2 nights LOL

Everything is high now.
When we went it was pricey but not astromnocial.
But EVERYTHING is out of control price wise right now with hotels. Not sure why
Everything is DOUBLE it was pre-Covid.
It's ridiculous

So if you are flying to Ft Lauderdale look into Margaritaville in Hollywood Beach.
It is AMAZING.
So new, nice, and luxurious.

I know, the pricing is crazy. I guess because they lost so much in 2020 with all the travel restrictions they are trying to make up for it.

Yes, I was thinking of just staying in the area too but I had never been to Key Largo and thought it would be a fun adventure. If I cant find anything reasonable though, this is a great option 2. thank you!
