Been in the work force over 30 years and never heard of different pricing where I worked nor my spouses or anyone else I know.
The company I worked for change health insurance policies and while I didn’t use them people would take some kind of physical/prescreening test and people would get discounts if they didn’t smoke and their results within limits.
So there already polices that basically charge more for unhealthy people even if it’s not worded that way.
Giving discounts to healthy people is the same things as charging more for unhealthy people.
Many companies have done health screenings for years but I prices were always still across the board, not for individuals. I have always done them as it is good to see your numbers and you can do it right at work.
Same with mine but then it changed. They started to give discounts based on numbers. Same with my friends health insurance.
So the only point i am making is it definitely happens now. Obviously not all companies do it but there our that do. And it won’t be surprising if more start to do it also.
Yeah you never know if they all start. Last year we were all working from home so maybe they will start it when people are back in the office to do the screenings.
It’s not just office my friend is a SAHM she has to go to the dr herself and get screened if they want a discount on their insurance.
Oh wow, ok. Never had that with any job.

But it would appear that the only benefit to this shot now is that maybe you won't die - which is obviously amazing and worth it. But there is no longer any reason to force it on others.

So a whole restaurant full of vaccinated people who feel so safe!! Eating, talking, laughing, sitting close at the bar. And meanwhile they can be passing it around to each other like an STD in a wh0rehouse.

And you are right. Who knows if you are still protected if you got vaccinated in February. The talk of needing boosters is real.
So when is the vaccine card no longer valid to enter restaurants?
When does it expire and when will you need a booster to be allowed in restaurants?
the reason none of it makes sense is because it's no longer about health and safety- it's about compliance.
Hopefully when this scummbag is gone in January, the new mayor will reverse this nonsense.
And will clean up the friggin' streets too. Which I hear is more of a safety issue than Covid right now in NYC.

No one truly knows how long it will work on each individual and many who are vaccinated are not interested in the 3rd shot.
So what happens then when more people are unvaccinated and they can't bribe them anymore to get the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shot?
The media is trying to scare people that the majority of people are unvaccinated in the hospitals, failing to tell them that you are considered unvaccinated until 2 weeks AFTER your 2nd shot.

I’m not interested in debate but I have to point out how everyone also seems to avoid another fact, perhaps the most important benefit to the vaccine: Our hospitals are not currently inundated. Sure you can get vaccinated and spread Covid all you want, but your asses won’t be in the hospital. Our hospitals here in NY are thankfully not near capacity at this time because those spreading Covid amongst each other are vaccinated and don’t need hospitalization(and do not die if that means anything to you).
You can get your heart bypass surgery, visit your family members dying in the hospital(of other things), get your Pap smears and regular health screening on time, get a CT scan or biopsy to detect an early cancer, and get that appendectomy you need. Look at Florida’s hospitals right now, they are in NYC March 2020 mode(except for having PPE now….). I totally get and am thankful that the concept of “hospital at capacity” is just a concept, not something most have personal experience with and know what that REALLY means(which I won’t even share here..) Get your vaccine, don’t get it, whatever you want. Please don’t forget about the healthcare workers scared AF for the upcoming season now mobilizing for the worst. We all all first in line for the booster.
Supposedly not so in other states.

Or they’d say...”yeah we already knew that”. Like it happened with the booster, and like it happened with the natural immunity being better protection against delta than 2 doses of the covid vaccine.

I had Covid, was fortunate that I didn’t have to go to the hospital even with my pre-existing condition. So my ass won’t be in the hospital.

Well where is this natural immunity that so many have talked about last year? It seems people are getting it twice, vaccine isn't really doing what we were told from the beginning it was supposed to do and you are hearing more and more stories of people getting bad side effects. I thought by this point we should have had herd immunity no?
