shower gift when the bride isn't registered anywhere

My husband's best friend is getting remarried.
His fiance invited me to a "shower," which is more like a get together at a cute restaurant in Patchogue.

She isn't registered anywhere.
I can't come empty handed.
Any ideas of what the heck I can get her?

Maybe just a gift card to a local restaurant for the to have a date night
Or to like a Home Goods type store

I like the homegoods GC and maybe a pretty frame for a future wedding photo as a keepsake type of thing

I would go for Homegoods too as there is always something to find there.

My go - to was always Tiffany candlesticks because I got a pair as a gift and loved them. And now that 15 years have gone by I realize I’ve used them twice. During power outages lol

I wish back when I registered for stuff I could’ve asked for gift cards to places like home goods and home sense

I'd either do a "luxury" gift - like wine glasses (or candle holders like mentioned above) from Tiffany's or a Bed Bath & Beyond gift card

If it is a second marriage, they probably have everything they need already, so I wouldn't get "stuff". Maybe a gift card to a local restaurant so they can go out. Or, like others have said, a gift card to Home Goods or Beth Bath and Beyond. This way, when they need to get something, they have the gift card.

Yeah, stuff like that rarely gets used! Like, I have the matching sugar bowl and creamer that goes with my china. I use the sugar bowl, but I never use the creamer. I just put the container of milk on the table! And, I use the dishes for the main course and appetizer, but by coffee and dessert, I just use paper plates/cups! Yet, I have 12 cups and saucers!

I never registered for China and I am so glad I did not.
I would have literally NEVER used it.
My every day set was nice enough for company and most of our company is outdoor bbq's where you are using paper/plastic wear anyway.
I can't imagine where I'd have stored it either. I'm drowning as it is with just my every day stuff!

I didn’t ask for it either and I inherited my grandparents. I barely take it out though as I have it in the basement and I have to bring it all upstairs, clean it, then clean it again and lug it downstairs. Just not worth it honestly.

You can' t go wrong with a gift card to Bed bath and beyond or home goods. I recently gave my DH's friends a personalized charcuterie board.
It was his 3rd marriage and he kept pretty much everything from the 2nd one. The board had their last name on it so even if this one doesn't work out he can still use it.

I must admit that I actually use the china. I have a china cabinet and it's in there. We usually host at least one holiday per year, plus my daughter's birthday. Last Saturday, we were 16 people for my daughter's birthday and I used them.

yeah I don't have a dining room. So no china cabinet, no dining room table to host large parties.
No basement to store china.
My house is basically a tiny house lol
So we can only host outdoor parties.
Anything large we do in a restaurant (communions, big birthdays etc)

Same but we have a dining room table but it only is for 6 people and then we squeeze more in lol. That is the only table to eat at though.
We are lucky we have a basement though as I have no clue what I will do in the future if we don't have one.
