They probably ended beginning of May as schools down south go back the beginning of August usually.

I hate that and the incessant posts about happy birthday to the most amazing husband on earth I'm so lucky to have you blah blah blah. Is it weird I dont wish my husband happy birthday on Facebook? I say it to him in person lol

Yeah what is that all about? I like my space and can still touch each other if that is what their intentions are.
My husband has hearing loss so we always sit together. He can’t hear me on the other side of the booth with all of the other noise at a restaurant.

Yeah what is that all about? I like my space and can still touch each other if that is what their intentions are.

All fake. I actually saw someone doing this today but to a child about their new sibling coming. Sorry, but put it in a journal or baby book. Not sure why all of social media needed to see that intimate post.

Any new pet peeves to rant about?
I have noticed lately (particularly on Facebook) that most of the world has forgotten the word "HAVE". Every post is "could of", or "should of" etc. No one seems to remember it's "could've" or "should've". All the to/too and their/there mix-ups are bad enough, but the "of" one really drives me crazy.

Misspelling Lose, for the past year people have been writing loose. Not sure if it’s an iPhone update autocorrect issue but I see it a lot.

I’m guilty of this but not so mushy, just a plain birthday and Father’s Day shot out. We don’t really tag each other unless it’s something funny.
I do laugh at the “my husband is so awesome because he picked the kids up from school” post. It’s usually something random that a parent should do and the one spouse is giving all these accolades like it’s not their job.

Or not responding at all and you have to chase after them. I HATE doing it and people who don't respond anymore don't get invited anymore by me. Then I always get the "where was my invite". Really? How hard is it to respond, even if it is maybe.
The FB invites show when people see your invite too so you know they clicked on it and read it.

Supermarket cashiers here. I think cashiers at the Aldi and Lidl in the US do the same thing, not sure. I’m used to it and I can bag super quick and have it down to a science, but yesterday was another story. She was going so quick, some of my stuff started getting thrown on the floor.

Maybe that’s it as well. Honestly, I saw the typo so much last year that I did a Google search because I thought something changed in the English dictionary or that it was a new slang term. Like emphasizing the O’s in lose to l-oo-se, as extra lost. Lol.

That drives me crazy too but I wonder if it's voice to text.
I use it often and with my hard LI accent "have" always becomes "of" and I cringe and change it.
Sometimes people don't look and edit before they send. If I am in a rush I don't either although I'd be mortified if that mistake went through lol.

I keep getting phone calls and texts asking if I own the property at blahblahblah address in blahblahblah town, which I do not. I recently got such a call asking to speak with my mom, who is deceased. I said, "She's deceased, so she's unavailable to speak with you right now."
The only reason I answer these calls is because of the situation with my relative who is recovering from COVID. I never answered unknown numbers in the past, but I have to now because I never know if it could be related to that situation.

When people don’t return the damnnnn carts to the cart return when they are 3 feet away or less??!!! How lazy can you be??!!! Personally I don’t see the big deal returning it to the proper spot no matter how far away it is but when a cart is left out and it’s so close to the cart return it irks me to no point lol
Also hate when a parking lot doesn’t have a cart return??? I want to know who tonight that’s a good idea!!
