One of my fiends works in target(not naming the location) . She had said that people who are wearing masks were giving dirty looks to people who aren’t wearing masks, curse at them , a few fights have already broken out and cops had to be called for one of them I have to go to stop and shop in the next couple days so I’ll see what goes on there. Someone posted on Facebook this morning that he went to Starbucks maskless today and had no issues.
This is my big fear, the last thing I want is someone cursing at me or god forbid starting a fight and hitting me. The mask mandate is lifted but it sounds a lot of people will think they are the mask police and try to start problems for others.

I went to Starbucks and did not wear a mask. Everyone else was wearing a mask.
The Starbucks had a sign on the door saying that masks are optional for vaccinated customers.
I do think as time goes on and the temperatures get warmer, more people will not be wearing masks.
See it's like a peer pressure thing. Like you want to not wear it but you don't want to be the only one and it's like who breaks the ice and does it first and everyone follows.
I give you credit for being the only one in Starbucks without it. I don't have the balls.

Couldn’t agree more. As a society, we have become so intolerable of one another, always looking to tell others what to do sometimes aggressively, that the majority of people are afraid to, in this case, take off their mask because of fear that someone might attack us verbally, or even physically. It’s sad.

Apparently the Karens know better than the CDC and the state guidelines.

Exactly and if vaccinated people can spread then why are they so afraid of non vaccinated? ANYONE can have it to any extreme.

And Fauci is flipping out that people did not fully listen and not everyone is allowed to go without masks. GO.AWAY. He seems to have known about something like this in 2017 and flip flops back and forth. People are done with all of this and it is not the science anymore but control and power and money.

I don’t think the employer really can. That person who stated her office just requires it never came back on here.
My niece’s job is making employees get the vaccine and provide proof.

Dropped off my kid at school, no mask, Walmart no mask and starbucks no masks. Saw only a few without masks. Was waiting to hear some nonsense from someone about no mask but i did not. My husband knows i can handle my own if confronted but i feel everyone should mind their business and go about their day. You wanna wear your mask, more power to you but not me.

My guess is you will see MANY still masking up for quite some time regardless of the mandates being lifted. I am sure it will take time before most people are going without.

To answer a PP question (too lazy to quote), someone put on FB today they took their children into a store maskless and they were told their children needed to have the mask on, as they are clearly under 12 years old so they are not vaccinated. They weren't asking for proof, but no young children are vaccinated so I guess that's the proof that they aren't? Not sure but none of this makes any sense anyway lol. As for me, I wore my mask in Dunkin this morning and everyone else had one on as well.

I would think more people would drop the whole mask act. Especially with the numbers so low but it doesnt bother me so me being without one should not bother them. I did get a kick out of who was without one at school drop off today and surprised by the ones who did remove them. I was expecting alot of men but it was alot of woman.

My friend who works at one said it was weird to see people without masks. So crazy how used to it we have become.

We arent allowed inside so it just dropping them and picking them up outside the school. My daughter wears hers in school just fine. Rips it off her face outdoors

I was just told by a friend who works in a medical office that it IS a Hippa violation to ask if you have had the vaccine or not. No one has cleared that up as far as I have heard.

DH went to Walmart. He said most people still had masks but he did see a few without. I think as time passes and the summer comes into full swing we will see less and less people with masks.
