Wonky/ delayed cycles and false cancer mammogram scares after second dose of vaccine.

I will say after the 2nd shot my pelvic lymph nodes were hurting a week later. I was at work and I was in such pain. I had to take 4 motrin just to get through it.

I have had some pain there every day here and there. I had epstein-barr in the past and that is what it felt like. But luckily this time I could not feel my lymph nodes. With epstein barr they were literally protruding from my lower body.

I got my second dose and got my period three days later, even though it was not due for another three weeks. And I don't get my period regularly (like every three months), so for me it definitely seemed like the vaccine that caused it.

Can't be related to the shot. That's folklore. You must be going thru menopause.

Interesting! My period is a week late now and I actually took a pregnancy test because I thought I might be. It was negative. I wonder if it's because of the shot.

ETA: I'm 35 and NEVER late. I've been late three times.. and pregnant all three.

There is no proof either way. That’s why more research is being done. To say it definitely is or definitely isn’t is nonsense.

My friend's sister who hasn't had her period in 5 years after Meno started bleeding a few weeks after her 2nd shot.

But then that was it.

A few days after I got my 2nd dose, I had extremely painful cramping. I figured I was having a tough time ovulating. I was insanely hungry too so chalked it up to hormones. Maybe it was related? I don't know.

But other vaccines have had similar issues with affecting menstrual cycles so to dismiss it as unlikely or impossible or to tell people it's probably just unrelated is nonsense.

Yeah I just haven't seen anyone on here say it's DEFINITELY related but there are people almost mocking those of us that have had somewhat concerning reactions and making excuses for them. It's completely inappropriate. The fact that even on this small survey, which is obviously not statistically reliable but still, over 20% of women who had the vaccine had an irregular cycle makes me think that there is probably a link, especially combined with the fact that other vaccines have been known to have similar effects.

well, this is exactly where my problem lies... there is no proof, of course. Because this vaccine became available only 6 months ago. Yet many many women are talking about experiencing all these female-health related issues. Women who obviously, unlike a few posters here suggested, are NOT doing it in order to discourage others or scare them into not getting the vaccine, since they themselves have already gotten it.

My issues is that there is a slew of problems that women ARE experiencing POST vaccine, women who were regular like clockwork in decades before these incidents. And yet it is not out there in bold print, being jumped on by medical community!

My main issue with this is, as a mother of a young daughter, who will surely one day want to have kids of her own, I am concerned this will one day (g'd forbid) affect her fertility... Heck, it may one day affect ME and cause more female related issues. At least I am done having babies and don't care about being able to get pregnant ever again.

I don't think it is wise to completely dismiss these issues as "silly nonsense and anti vaccines propaganda". Again, clearly, the women reporting those issues are the ones FOR vaccines since they all obviously HAVE gotten the vaccines themselves.

We won't know exactly if there are any long term side-effects of covid vaccine for many many years. In the meantime, I am happy my daughter is only 14 and we have time to hopefully see more studies of these particular side-effects conducted and reported.

But the problem is they may be forcing young children and young adults to get this vaccine before we have a chance to see more studies and long term side effects.
Already they are forcing college students to get it - see the other thread about CUNY and SUNY.
I don't give it long before it's required for K-12.
That scares the shit out of me to be honest.
Especially since this age group is the very least affected by Covid.
I was never afraid of my young daughter getting Covid. She probably had it already for all I know.
But I fear giving her this vaccine.
And this is from someone who gives her all her vaccines on time from the day she was born. Including a flu shot

Same here. I am scared for my kids who will have to get it for college. It is really not fair as if they had a choice, they wouldn’t.

i haven't had any issues. i'm perimenopausal so i could have assumed it was that and it didn't even register on my radar.

now... my boss and i just made a joke where the punchline was "you might be having side effects from the vaccine." i mentioned this conversation and he shared that his wife has had one very wonky cycle since getting her second shot of the vaccine.

I 100% agree with everything you wrote.

It feels like anyone who wants to know the TRUTH, good and bad, is being completely dismissed or labeled at an anti-science nut job.

My biggest concern is forcing this on my daughter as well and then later finding out her fertility could be impacted. Yes it's unlikely and I'm not losing sleep over it right now, but I'd feel much better if the science community was as aggressively investigating the vaccine with the same gusto as they are shamelessly promoting as if it's the hottest, new accessory.

We need to be concerned as there was a vaccine many years ago, I can’t remember the name, sorry, that one of my parents friends took that they found out causes cancer. She did develop breast cancer and died from that. They had proven the vaccine was the cause in many women.

I am scared to take it myself and hope they do not require this for the younger set. I do not want to get this for my daughter if they force this on them. But seeing as our freedoms are being taken away, i can see this happening.

FDA just approved use of Pfizer vaccine in 12-15 year olds. It will probably be required for school in September pending approval . I am not even keen on hpv vaccine at 11 and that has been around for a while.

It's not FDA approved in adults yet though.
It may be approved for emergency use in age 12-15 as of today...because they are the next age group down.
But I don't think it's FDA approved for anyone yet.
It's coming soon- but not yet.

This morning on the news they were talking about babies as young as 6 months are going through trials. They had parents on of a 9 year old child (pretty sure this was the age, I could be wrong but young) that is putting their kid through these trials. These woman was a doctor and I can’t believe any parent would do this. It is scary that society just has no common sense anymore. So much schooling...our brain gets smart but our head gets dumb.

They have been approved for EU, not by the FDA

I agree there is probably a link given what is known about estrogen and immune response. But no one will know for sure until there is more research. I don’t understand why you keep quoting me or what part of my statement about more research being needed is false.
