NYS 2022 Budget
There is a tremendous amount to infrastructure. I hope some of that makes it way down to LI.
I hope some of the offshore green energy is used to curtail the utility expenses that we carry.
Does anyone have any information about this:
The Budget also continues the phase-in of the middle class tax cut, which is expected to save 4.8 million New Yorkers over $2.2 billion this year.

$15k to undocumented immigrants who lost their job?!?!
ETA, cuomo even said it’s going to be hard to show they lost work without fraud.

My mother lives in La Jolla, CA which is suppose to be the most expensive area and I think LI is more expensive. At least they have Prop 19 and food/groceries are much less expensive there.
I can't wait to relocate to another part of the country.

Parts of it. They live up in the hills and there are some very nice areas just like there are by the coast but it can change over very quickly.
Personally, there are some areas of LI that are just as beautiful if not more so. One thing that CA is lacking is space so you have these beautiful houses on top of each other without a lawn.
The homeless population is overwhelming too so the coastal areas need to content with that regardless of zip code.

Pretty much everywhere is more beautiful than LI.

Right! At least they have palm trees and pretty scenery. WTF do we have, potholes and strip malls? People are leaving NY in droves and these idiots are raising taxes. God help us.
