I was curious so I clicked on KK's name to see what she had posted in this thread and she didn't say anything that remotely merits being called an a**hole.
We had a solid couple of weeks with some decent posts that debated real issues but now I see the level of discourse is plummeting once again.
Too bad.

Again, VB isn't a victim. The fact is, she didn't like being called out (by myself and others) over her disinterest in the vaccine. As usual, she made some off topic personal remarks about me and then whines about being bullied.
As you can EASILY see, she is back just a few days and already threads are thrown off course and everything is about VB which is how trolls like it, and she is a troll. It's been stated many times on here that a difference of opinion is fine as is a debate but as was the case weeks ago, nobody can tolerate VB's incessant need to steal the spotlight and derail posts.
I'm not going to argue with you over this, there are countless people on here that have very little tolerance for VB. There is a reason she was removed from the site and why she keeps rejoining with new names.

Why don't we just ask the PTB to create a board that only you and Hofstra and your other friends can go on? Or better yet, maybe just start a private page on FB so you can all pat each other on the back with how smart you all are?

It wasn’t condescending at all. There are tons of grammar mistakes on this board and they aren’t pointed out.
That one was, in particularly, funny because there was some back and forth about intelligence (couldn’t follow it with the quotes) and then that glaring error happened a *few* times between the back and forth.
If you can’t lighten up and laugh, then I don’t know what to tell you.

There was a thread a few weeks back that was perfectly peaceful. You came on and said something about how someone was about to call you a trump loving Republican. Or something like that - I'm paraphrasing. No one had done any such thing, and no one ever did any such thing. Another poster called you out on that and you never responded.
You love to call others condescending or troublemakers but yet you do the same thing constantly. The baby shower thread is another example. There were only two posters who said anything that I would call remotely condescending and you were one of them.
I'll say for VB that she seems to understand that she stirs the pot. You really have zero self awareness.

And Jenn, you actually come off as a genuine, likeable person. IRL we might disagree about a few things but I think you'd actually find we agree on a decent amount of stuff.
But Hofstra, you actually strike me as the type of person who cuts off friends and family members because they don't share the same political views, or at the very least your that person that just must argue politics at every holiday or family event because half your family are probably Trump supporters. Well, thanks. And yeah - we have definitely agreed on things before. We've gone back and forth nicely more than once.
Maybe no one else will chime in on this but me and Hofstra but I think you'd be well served if you took a second to reflect on how you come off sometimes. Because the poster who called you out in the other thread wasn't me and it wasn't Hofstra. You called KK an a**hole when totally non merited and then said something super sarcastic to me when I wasn't nasty to you at all. Now you're speculating about Hofstra's family... I mean, take a minute to take stock and just chill.
Many of us have gotten salty (me included) and taken a step back. You can do the same.

I think most people on here should take a look at how they come off. Many people come off as IKE aka I know everything. I know I come off as sarcastic and possibly as someone who doesn’t take things seriously . But I also know I really don’t care if random online people like me.

Nope, not selfish taking something that has no background studies on people for an extended period of time. It had nothing to do with science having it before this. It hasn’t been used on humans and I am not comfortable yet. I have a choice and I am not harming anyone. Just like I have a choice with the flu shot or many other medical decisions.
If whiny is wanting my children to be back in school and people getting their jobs back. As well as people being able to see and do things with their family and friends, even if yes, god forbid they want to get a mani together or dance with a bride and groom to share things with them, then, yes, I guess I am being whiny.
Let's dissect this comment. First - not selfish taking something that has not background studies for an extended period of time. I think you mean that you are not being selfish by refusing to get a vaccine.  Said comment being followed by stuff I'm not going to repeat then this It hasn’t been used on humans . This is another , since "used on humans" is exactly what they do in vaccine trials -which have been done. And then this gem . . .I am not harming anyone which is completely tone deaf to the science regarding asymptomatic transmission of Covid, as well as presymptomatic transmission of Covid.
Taking this altogether, what I read is that if you contract Covid because you refused to get a vaccine, it's OK, even if you transmit Covid to another person and that person dies because you don't think you should take a vaccine since the trials haven't been conducted on the absolute number of people that you deem satisfactory, and that this is not selfish.

Want more important examples....someone being able to bring another individual with them to get their cancer diagnosis or having someone close by IN the building during treatments. Being able to be in a room with a spouse during a sonogram and getting devastating news. These are important. Open up NY
My spouse was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. His most recent appointment with his MD was last week. As with every single other appointment he has had since the beginning, I was right there in the room with him for his exam.
My nephew had surgery a few weeks ago, my sister walked him into the operating room. He is not a baby, he is a teenager. Right here, on Long Island at St. Catherine's Hospital.
