Tubing?
I’ve heard that Campgaw and Mount Peter are the closest to us that have tubing but I can’t tell from the website which is better for an older set of kids 9-11 years old. Interested in tubing only at this time. Any recommendations?
Has anyone been during COVID times and can share their experience?

We live in Northern Jersey and have gone to both places pre-COVID. In general my kids like Mt. Peter. Campgaw is smaller.
My daughter was invited to Campgaw for a birthday party with a bunch of 10 year old girls during the holidays. The place was packed! They we’re able to go 3 times in 2.5 hours. They were there pre-COVID the previous year at the same time and it wasn’t as busy.
You should look at Mountain Creek also. We had friends just go tubing and they said it was pretty good. Longer runs. My kids ski there most weekends but no tubing. We go there first thing in the morning and get home by 1 or 2. Place gets busy by 12. Come as early as you can for tubing.
It seems like everyone is looking at tubing/skiing this winter. Be prepared for the lodges to be closed. Some are open, others just have a fire outside. Dress warm!

Tubing?
I’ve heard Mountain Creek is horrible for tubing too.
Whichever you choose - the weekend tickets sell out quickly so be sure to book early.

Tubing?
We like Campgaw, went over xmas break. It was busy though....all mountains are since there is nothing to do indoors and traveling to places like VT and NH arent allowed. So everyone is staying local.
